3,000 is the magic number

Who cares about Derek Jeter passing Lou Gehrig to become Yankees all-time hits leader. It's not a big deal to hit 2,723. It will be a big deal when he hits 3,000. There has never been a New York Yankee that has ever made it on the 3,000 hit club. When he makes it on there than yah I will be shocked. Craig Biggio has 3,060 hits and I don't hear nothing about him. Pete Rose has made 4,256 hits and he isn't even in the hall of fame being the all time hit leader. Ken Griffey, Jr. even has more hits than Derek Jeter. I'm just saying that why is the media making such a big deal over how many hits he has made, when there are all these other players on the 3,000 hit club. When Derek Jeter is on the hit club, then lets talk.
