3,000 is the magic number

Who cares about Derek Jeter passing Lou Gehrig to become Yankees all-time hits leader. It's not a big deal to hit 2,723. It will be a big deal when he hits 3,000. There has never been a New York Yankee that has ever made it on the 3,000 hit club. When he makes it on there than yah I will be shocked. Craig Biggio has 3,060 hits and I don't hear nothing about him. Pete Rose has made 4,256 hits and he isn't even in the hall of fame being the all time hit leader. Ken Griffey, Jr. even has more hits than Derek Jeter. I'm just saying that why is the media making such a big deal over how many hits he has made, when there are all these other players on the 3,000 hit club. When Derek Jeter is on the hit club, then lets talk.

BCS Ratings Suck!!!!

Should the NCAA have a Playoff? Most people involved in the sport would like to argue this question. This argument has been raised since the beginning of college football. Is it a fair decision or should this be taken more seriously. The BCS has been around for over a decade, but the decison to involve college football in a playoff has never been resolved. I do not think that the decision about who will be in the BCS Championship is fair at all. It's all about finding the two best teams in the country, but how can they do that with all the gliches in the system. BCS has been having many problems in the past and we have yet to find what kind of problems they will have this year. The sponsors have a huge effect on these decisions by paying the schools millions of dollars to play in these bowl games. I just think that it isn't really fair to leave the teams of college football from having a final playoff after all their hard work and dedication to try to win.

Learn to share

Didn't your mother ever tell you to share? Obviously Darrell Waltrip never heard that saying. This Nascar icon is throwing a fit over a canadian store owner soposedly stealing his catch phrase "Boogity, boogity, boogity, let's go racin' boys!"  to name his store. The store was already named Boogity Boogity Racing and more recently called Boogity Sportswear before he even trademarked his childish catchphrase. Who the hell really cares about a couple of stupid words. I just want to tell him to grow the hell up. Your not a child anymore fighting over toys. It's really okay to share things. Does this mean that anyone who says those stupid words will be sued? If that's the case than all I have to say is "BOOGITY, BOOGITY, BOOGITY"!!!!!!

To loan or not to loan????

Apparently a former detroit red wings player needs more millions to live a better life. In a recent article, Sergei Fedorov is going to be paid $60 million dollars from a lawsuit against a Joseph Zada after he supposedly swindled him out of $43 million dollars and promised to pay $60 million back. This loan was not payed on time so this agreement went to court to be fixed by a judge. I just want to know why he would even loan out all that money in the first place. Do these people just have millions of dollars laying around? Why is it that the millionaires out there are so sue happy while us middle-classers just want a happy normal life? Nothing against those money makers, but if I had all that money I would just want to have fun and not worry about other people. I would also never lend out that much money.

Favorite Loser

Watching your favorite sport is like watching your child grow. We always expect the most from our teams. Most of the time you are proud, but there are still those times when they always let you down. For example, I am a fan of the detroit lions, and they did not do so well in 2008. They are doing good this year during preseason, but then again they always do good during preseason. It must be that feeling of having to do good during the actual season that really messes them up. It was almost embarrasing last year having to watch the team fall to the ground every game. I mean they couldn't even win just one game. How hard is it to win one single game.  All that I'm saying is that if they don't do well this year than I might as well find a different team to cheer on.
